Editorial Policy

What we publish, what we refuse to publish, and how we handle corrections and commercial relationships.

This policy governs everything published on EarningByAI. It is written to be held to.

Independence

No vendor can buy a recommendation, a ranking position or a rating. Affiliate relationships are disclosed and have no bearing on editorial judgement. If a tool with no affiliate programme is the right answer, it is the answer we give.

Accuracy

  • Pricing is read from the vendor’s own pricing page and carries the date it was checked.
  • Where we cannot verify a figure, we say so rather than estimating.
  • Features are described from documentation or from use — never inferred from marketing copy.
  • We do not claim to have tested a tool we have not tested. Untested entries carry a visible label.

Ratings

A numeric rating only appears once an editor has genuinely evaluated the tool against our criteria. An unrated tool shows as “not yet rated”. We would rather show nothing than a number we invented.

What we refuse to publish

  • Fabricated reviews, testing notes, testimonials, user counts or statistics
  • Guaranteed-income or get-rich claims
  • Spun or scraped competitor content
  • Thin pages produced at volume to chase keywords
  • Misleading calls to action, or affiliate links disguised as neutral references

Updates and corrections

Every editorial page shows an updated date. Substantive corrections are made promptly; where a correction changes a recommendation, we note what changed. Report an error through the contact page.

Use of AI in our own work

We use AI tools in research and drafting, as most publishers now do. Every page is reviewed and edited by a person before publication, and the facts — particularly pricing — are checked against primary sources. AI is not permitted to invent testing, quotes or figures, and no page is published unread.
