What is Google Gemini?
Gemini is Google’s AI assistant, available as a standalone app and embedded inside Workspace — Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive and Meet.
What it does well
Working on material you already keep in Google. Summarising a thread, drafting in a document, pulling a table out of a Sheet, or answering a question about a file in Drive without you uploading anything.
Who should use it
Small businesses and schools already standardised on Workspace, where the integration removes the copy-paste step that eats most of the time saving.
Who should not use it
If your documents live in Microsoft 365 or a document management system, the integration advantage disappears and you should judge Gemini on raw output alone.
